For the first time since 2019, the display will return, on Monday May 23 for public, in-person enjoyment.
The show is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. — as long as the weather cooperates — and last for 13 minutes.
It’s also free to attend.
“It is wonderful to see the return of the spectacular public fireworks display on Victoria Day at Ashbridges Bay,” Toronto Mayor John Tory said in a statement. “Please be safe this long weekend and I encourage everyone to enjoy the many events planned throughout Toronto.”
“Thank you to everyone who has worked to bring back this annual celebration,” he added.
The show will feature 2,000 individual fireworks and includes a spectacular finale.
Ashbridges Bay Park is located on Lake Shore Blvd. E. at the foot of Coxwell Ave. and is readily accessible by public transit.
