This Lego Marvel Avengers Advent Calendar Is Sweeter Than Chocolate

December is a month of traditions, and one of the biggest of these age-old customs is a daily snack of chocolate via an advent calendar. It’s time to buck convention in the mighty Marvel manner, as instead of assembling a mouthful of sweets, you can assemble some Avengers instead with this particular advent calendar.

The Lego Marvel Avengers advent calendar is available to preorder for $45 at Amazon ahead of its September 1 release.

Over the course of 24 days, you can assemble some great toys from the Lego Marvel Avengers Advent Calendar. In total, this set includes seven minifigures–Okoye, Doctor Strange, Captain America, Spider-Man, Wong, Iron Man, and Black Widow–and several mini-builds that you can pose with them.

The Spider-Man minifigure in particular is delightful, as it gives the webhead a festive season makeover where he dons some delightful apparel. That’s right, it’s Spider-Man wearing a Spider-Man sweater.

The rest of the included heroes are all wearing their signature costumes and armor, and you can use them alongside the buildable Quinjet, jetpack, ice hockey kit, Hydra Train, and more to create your own mini Marvel Cinematic Universe. Once you’re done, the box converts into a cute diorama background to use to show off all your hard construction work.

This is an officially licensed Lego set as well, so what you get in this box will be compatible with your other Lego sets as well.
