The Tale of Food, a new gacha RPG with humanised meals, reaches the 800k milestone for pre-registrations

Developer Madfun Game Limited has announced that pre-registrations for its upcoming food-based RPG The Tale of Food have breached the 800k pre-register mark, celebrating with even more rewards once the game does finally launch on April 19th.

The Tale of Food seems like quite an interesting little game, even by gacha RPG standards. The entire focus of the world is that the characters are personified versions of various food dishes from all over the world, bringing edible meals to life as very good-looking anime boys instead.

And with all of these personified meals, your job as the Food God is to set out into the fantastical world and find Food Souls, each of which will offer up a unique story that is sure to entice you. This is all a very unique spin on even the wildest of JRPGs stories, and that makes The Tale of Food particularly exciting.

Clearly, plenty of others agree too, as the game recently reached the 800k pre-registrants milestone. To celebrate this, the developers have announced through the roadmap above that players will be receiving an absolute boatload of free goodies once the game does officially launch.

These goodies range from premium currency to upgrade materials and even new frames for the player’s avatar, making those that do pre-register stand out from the rest with their own unique way of customising their profiles. Add in all the other extras, and that’s one heck of a deal.

So don’t wait! The Tale of Food is due out within a few days from now, and you’d be missing out on all of that stuff if you don’t put in your lot and pre-register at the link below! Currently, there’s no App Store page to pre-register from, but you can visit the official website for more information in the meantime.
