The return of World of Warcraft to China has been a cause for celebration for Microsoft and Blizzard. The agreement with the company NetEase has allowed the game to reach the Asian country, and the initial numbers have shown that it is a great success for all the companies involved.
There is no doubt that there was a great interest in World of Warcraft. Its arrival can already be considered a resounding success, with over two million subscriptions in just two days of pre-registration, an impressive figure even for this MMORPG giant.
Additionally, on their official X/Twitter account, NasDa shared other important data for the community: 92,021 and 146,990 accounts have been successfully recovered and reactivated, respectively. This means that many players will be able to continue their progress where they left off. In summary, the return of World of Warcraft to China has been a complete success.
