The Golden Age Arc Is Getting A TV Memorial Edition

It seems like, as a payback for keeping the fans waiting for a long time to read the new chapters, Berserk creators have decided to impress the fans with new surprises. Just recently, the announcement for the continuation of the Berserk manga broke the internet. And now we have the news regarding the Berserk movie trilogy memorial edition release on TV.

Berserk is undoubtedly one of the greatest manga in the dark, epic fantasy, and sword and sorcery genre. The original writer of the series was Kentaro Miura. But now that he is no more with us, Kouji Mori has stepped up as the writer of the series. The Berserk: Golden Age Arc movie series, for which we are getting the TV memorial edition, came out from 2012 to 2013.

To announce the news for the memorial edition, a new promotional video is out on AniTV’s official YouTube channel. The re-edited work of the movie trilogy will be broadcast in 2022. The exact date of release is not out yet, but we can expect to hear more details soon. Anime Expo 2022 will be held from July 1st to July 4th, 2022. So, we can expect the creators to share more information regarding the memorial edition at the event. This includes information regarding the staff of the upcoming TV edition in addition to the release date.

Director, Yatu Saro will be directing the new edition of the Golden Age Arc alongside studio 4°C, which was also the studio behind the Berserk movie trilogy. The opening theme song is titled “Aria,” composed by the famous Japanese musician and composer Susumu Hirasawa.
