Get ready for an epic battle between Nelson and the Shadow Garden.
Episode 13 of The Eminence In Shadow is titled “Shometsu ni Sasageru Ketto” which translates to “A Duel For Annihilation,” and will be released on Wednesday, December 28th 2022 at 6:30 AM PST. For Japanese fans, AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, SUN, BS NTV, and TVA will release the upcoming episode, while international fans can watch it on HIDIVE. The upcoming episode of The Eminence In Shadow will commence the battle between the Shadow Garden and the acting Archbishop, Nelson, who is a member of the Order of Diabolos. Despite using all his might, Nelson wouldn’t be able to match the level of Delta. Aurora’s childhood will also be explored in the upcoming episode, for which the preview has been released on the official YouTube channel of KADOKAWAanime.
What Happened Previously On The Eminence In Shadow?
The previous episode was titled “The Truth Within the Memories,” in which we saw a magical door following Cid. After attempting to evade the door, Cid finally decides to enter it. On the other hand, Alpha discloses her elf identity and her relation to Olivier, the one who severed Diabolos’ left arm a thousand years ago. After entering the magical door, Cid is transported to a sanctuary where he meets Aurora, who has been imprisoned there for a thousand years.
Cid frees Aurora, after which she reveals the truth about the sanctuary and how it stores the memories of all the heroes. Aurora explains that they need to destroy the magical core in order to free others and delete all the memories that the sanctuary holds. As Cid passes through more and more memories, he learns that the place was used for experiments on orphan girls in which most of the subjects died, and a few, like Olivier survived and became powerful.
Upon reading Nelson’s memories, Alpha realizes that Diabolos’ arm created pills that could turn people demonic, and once a year, it produced 12 beads that could lend immortality for one year to the 12 Knights of Rounds. It is then revealed that Nelson is one of the 12 Knights of Rounds and helped in the creation of the first Beads thousand years ago. At the end of the episode, Nelson uses his power to create copies of himself and start attacking the Shadow Garden.
