What Happened Previously On The Devil Is A Part-Timer?

In Episode 11, Suzuki, Aliciel, Maou, and Suzuna all go to the shop to purchase a television set. Emi can be seen following the Yesod trail that takes her to the hospital, where she encounters Chiho in a coma and Chiho’s mom accompanying her. Maou notices that Rika is in love with Ashiya, and she starts to panic when he asks her.

In the next moment, all the TV sets in the store blast, and we see the same bright light that we see right before Chiho faints. Emi contacts everyone and tells them about Chiho’s unconscious state due to being exposed to a celestial sonar, which converted her life force into magical energy. After witnessing another sonar attack, Urushiara reveals Raguel the Watcher as the cause of the attack. Raguel is an angel who judges other angels, and he has been using television sets to send sonar attacks.

According to Emi, his real motive is to find Lailah, and they commit to finding her before Raguel does. It is then revealed that Lailah has disguised herself as a hospital nurse, after which she puts a ring on Chiho’s finger, saying that she can become the mother of the next Daath.
