This complete series Blu-ray collection comes with 20 discs and features a bunch of exclusive content including four behind-the-scenes documentaries, 22 audio commentaries from the cast and crews, three prequel shorts, and The Wire Reunion event. We’re not sure how long this stellar deal will last, so snag it while can.
The Wire largely revolves around Jimmy McNulty, a Baltimore detective with a penchant for bending the rules and disobeying orders. Throughout the series, you’ll watch as McNulty contends with a drug epidemic–and get a firsthand look at how the violence surrounding the illegal trade is tearing apart the community.
It’s more than just a cop thriller, however, as the show thrives in the “gray” areas of morality and doesn’t mind sending key characters away for an entire season.
It’s worth noting that The Wire is also available to stream with an HBO Max subscription. You won’t have access to all of the bonus content, though.
