The art book is to be included with the game’s Collector’s Edition.
A Reddit user has posted various hand-taken pictures of what appears to be the official Tears of the Kingdom art book that is set to be included in the game’s Collector’s Edition. The pictures are immensely detailed, they are clearly of an actual physical book, and the art style is identical to that of Breath of the Wild and Zelda overall, so, if this is a fake, it’s a ridiculously elaborate one.
Truly, its veracity is quite hard to argue against. The user, named u/JustJulienOffic, first posted a spoiler-free image of a page that shows off one of Link’s outfits in the game. This image is an exact match to the one seen in this official Tears of the Kingdom page, where a picture on the right-hand side advertises the Collector’s Edition Art Book.
The user then went on to post twenty more pages that show off some previously unrevealed entities/objects in the game, so, you may want to avoid it if you’re averse to spoilers. If you’re not and are foaming at the mouth for more Tears of the Kingdom info, then check out the link as soon as you can, for it’s definitely possible that these posts get taken down at some point soon.
How u/JustJulienOffic got these images is unclear and quite conspicuous. Via the post titles themselves and some replies they’ve made to commenters, they simply claim that a friend had been sending them the images, that they’re not sure if they’re “100% real,” but that they’ve been friends for a long time and don’t think they would lie to them. When asked how this was done, they vaguely responded that they didn’t know and their friend was simply sending them images.
A look at the user’s post history confirms that his first post on Reddit was four days ago and that it was in the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit. They made a few posts discussing “Hot Takes” and story “Implications” for the upcoming Zelda title. Then, a few days later, they posted these leaks. The hot takes post reads a lot more as if they’re simply stating facts about the game, so, that’s something you may want to check out, as it could be this user knows more than they’re letting on. The individual most recently posted a link for a Discord server where they plan to post the remaining art book images.
