More than 50 changes are rolling out.

Teamfight Tactics has announced that Patch 13.2 will be replaced by a mid-patch update for Patch 13.1, which is scheduled to go live on January 26.

Last week, a social engineering attack targeted Riot Games, compromising the development environment of Teamfight Tactics and League of Legends. While Riot Games indicated that no personal data was stolen during the attack, the capability to release updates and implement patches was impacted. Today, Riot Games provided an update on the situation to players via social media, stating that the attack had not only affected Teamfight Tactics and League of Legends source code, but also a legacy anti-cheating platform.

Teamfight Tactics developers had planned to push balance updates for Set 8: Monsters Attack! in Patch 13.2. Instead, the mid-patch update will introduce more than 50 changes ahead of Patch 13.3. Communications Lead Rodger Caudill outlines the numerous upcoming changes to Teamfight Tactics in the 13.1 patch notes. These include adjustments to traits, augments, items, and units of all tiers.

Changes are coming to several traits, such as Aegis and Sureshot. The mid-patch update buffs Champions of later tiers in Aegis and increases the Magic Resist of all Champions with the trait. On the other hand, Teamfight Tactics is nerfing Sureshot, reducing the trait’s Attack Damage bonus due to two Sureshot Champions being overpowered in endgame boards. As for augments and items, Galio’s Justice Punch will have a higher mana reduction and Infinity Force will grant increased Mana and Critical Strike Chance.

Units from tiers one to five will be adjusted, affecting some Champions more than others. In tier one, Ashe will receive an increase to her Attack Damage and Lulu will deal more damage with Glitterlance. Tier two Champions Ezreal and Yuumi, along with Zoe in tier three, will deal greater damage with certain abilities. In tier four, eight Champions will be adjusted, including Bel’Veth, Miss Fortune, and Sejuani. The mid-patch update makes multiple changes to Aphelios, a tier five Champion, altering his Attack Damage and the base damage of his guns.

Players can expect more reworks and additional updates originally planned to release in Patch 13.2 to arrive in Patch 13.3. Previously confirmed to go live on February 8, Patch 13.3 may not have to be postponed due to the attack. “We’ve made a lot of progress since last week and we believe we’ll have things repaired later in the week, which will allow us to remain on our regular patch cadence going forward,” Riot Games shared in a tweet.

Riot Games reassured players of its commitment to transparency, promising a full report on the attacker’s techniques and an action plan for preventing future attacks.
