Tavern Talk, D&D inspired visual novel, coming to Switch

Tavern Talk has proven to be one of the more recently popular visual novels on Kickstarter. In less than a day, it was funded and the project is more than double its €20,000 goal. A Switch stretch goal was also reached, so we’ll be seeing it in 2024.

As for what to expect, Tavern Talk is a D&D inspired visual novel in which players run a tavern in a fantasy world. Drinks that are served can change the customer’s destiny forever while rumors can be turned into heroic quests for patrons.

You walk into a tavern… and get to work! You are the owner of the Wayfarer’s Inn, a popular watering hole in the fantasy land of Asteria.

But you’re no ordinary barkeep. Be it a potion of seething fury or prancing swords, the drinks you serve can change your customer’s destiny forever. You can also turn the rumors you hear at work into heroic quests for your patrons!
