Susanna Reid baffles Good Morning Britain viewers as she sports ‘wedding ring’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV
Susanna Reid caused a stir during Monday’s Good Morning Britain as fans spotted what seemed like a wedding ring on her finger.
Eagle-eyed fans quickly took to social media to point out they had noticed Susanna wearing a ring on her left hand.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, @alibob499 asked: “Is Susanna Reid wearing a wedding ring? When did she get married?”
@quazidom added: “Is @susannareid100 wearing a sparkler on her wedding finger?”
Responding, @Vanessafield16 penned: “Susanna Reid said she never wanted to get married l never noticed any ring on her wedding ring hand.”
It came as the gold band was spotted on the 52-year-old’s wedding finger.
The presenter hasn’t announced any wedding or engagement, with her last romance update regarding ex-boyfriend, football boss Steve Parish.
She went public about the relationship in 2018 after they were snapped at a match together.
Months later in April 2019, Susanna revealed the relationship had ended.
In 2020, rumours spread that the two had reunited after they were spotted together at her home.
The journalist has three children with her ex-partner Dominic Cotton.
The pair separated in February 2014 and Susanna has kept fairly quiet about her private life.
The tweets came as Susanna and co-host Richard Madeley debated whether Robbie Williams’ confession that his kids were left in economy during flights while they fly first class.
“They say they want to avoid raising spoilt brats,” Susanna added, asking: “What do you think?”
Her ring was in view as Richard deemed the decision “weird” and she defended the singer.
“The children are small, they can fit in an economy seat,” she argued.
“Sorry, it’s a weird thing to do…” Richard responded.
“I think there’s an adult with the children…” Susanna pointed out.
The pair then invited viewers to get in touch with their thoughts on the subject.
