Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 17th 2023, Respawn Entertainment has confirmed. After a slew of rumors and leaks, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order received a new trailer at last night’s Game Awards, giving fans their first official glimpse at some gameplay.
According to the game’s official description, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will take place five years after the events of Fallen Order. The sequel, which will be helmed once again by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA, continues Cal’s journey as a now powerful Jedi Knight. “Carrying the memories and expectations of the Jedi Order with him, his crusade against the Empire has only become more perilous. The Dark Times are closing in – with enemies new and familiar surrounding him, Cal will need to decide how far he’s willing to go to save those closest to him”, reads the official trailer description.
Respawn Entertainment also confirmed that the sequel to Fallen Order will feature additional force abilities, new lightsaber fighting styles, new planets, biomes, challenges, enemies, and much more. All of the new features and expansive worlds can be seen in the game’s official gameplay trailer below, which was first shown at last night’s Game Awards ceremony.
Details on the game’s pre-order bonuses and editions are also now available. For those that purchase the deluxe edition of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, exclusive cosmetic items inspired by Han Solo and Luke Skywalker will be included, as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope:
