The first gameplay trailer for Keiichiro Toyama’s game, creator of Silent Hill, was shown at his new indie studio, Bokeh. It’s an action game where you fight against horrifying mutated creatures with ghostly powers, set to release on October 8th for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, and PC.

Killer Bean

This first- and third-person roguelite action game parodies GTA or Max Payne, procedurally generating an entirely new campaign each time you play, including locations, enemies, and bosses. This is ambitious enough on its own, even before considering the multitude of gameplay features it offers. It will be available in early access this summer.

CAIRN

Cairn, created by The Game Bakers, known for Furi and Haven, presents an interesting mechanic: every time you fall, without dying, you will see highlighted the previous routes you took. According to The Game Bakers, the paths are completely free, meaning you won’t be limited to following specific routes.

The simulation is very realistic: you have to be careful where you place your hands and feet, with simple yet very sensitive controls to help Aava reach the stage. For now, it’s only available on Steam.

Wanderstop

Annapurna joins the Summer Game Fest with Wanderstop, a game developed by the creators of The Stanley Parable, where you assume the role of a farmer in a fantasy world.

The trailer suggests that behind the vibrant colors lies something darker. Wanderstop will be available for PlayStation 5 and PC.

Unknown 9 Awakening

The story trailer for Unknown 9 Awakening reveals an exciting adventure starring a woman capable of traveling to a parallel dimension and possessing other bodies. The First Descendant

Speaking of dates, the Summer Game Fest also revealed the release date for The First Descendant, which will be available on July 2, 2024, as presented in its new trailer showcasing more of its action.

Innersloth, Publisher of Among Us

Innersloth, the creators of Among Us and regulars at the Game Awards, return to the stage to talk about Outersloth, a new label to finance and publish indie games.

Dune: Awakening

Monster Hunter Wilds

The event closed with Phantom Blade Zero, a PS5 exclusive. This new trailer provided an exclusive look at the latest developments, showcasing high-speed combat and multiple weapons, among other gameplay elements. Additionally, a demo was revealed.
