Sucrose best team comps guide

Genshin Impact has a huge roster of characters who can all synergize with each other in different ways. Sucrose is a 4-star character and one of the original Anemo supports, allowing you to buff the Elemental Mastery of your allies which increases their damage. Sucrose can also provide some crowd control, which allows you to group enemies together, helping you deal more AoE damage and kill things quickly. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide to Sucrose’s best team comps.

Sucrose is a 4-star Catalyst character and can be summoned on most Character Event Wish, Weapon Event Wish, and Standard Banners. She may also be featured on a Character Event Wish banner as a rate-up character, increasing your chances of a pull. To best take advantage of Sucrose in Genshin Impact, consider these team comps.

Sucrose’s main utility is to be used as a buffer, increasing your team’s Elemental Mastery and boosting their elemental reaction damage. This means Sucrose synergizes well as the primary buffer on teams that utilize elemental reactions like Vaporize, Electro-Charged, or Melt. Here are some of Sucrose’s best team comps in Genshin Impact:

  • Tartaglia / Sucrose / Xiangling / Bennett: This is one of Sucrose’s strongest teams. Sucrose’s spot here is normally taken by Kaedahara Kazuha, but we can substitute Sucrose as a cheaper 4-star alternative. Here, Sucrose provides Elemental Mastery to Xiangling and Bennett, which increases the Vaporize damage dealt by Xiangling’s Pyronado. Tartaglia uses his Elemental Skill to deal high Hydro DMG and apply the Hydro element to enemies, allowing each hit of Pyronado to vaporize.
  • Sucrose / Xingqiu / Fischl / Beidou: This is a popular team comp known as a “taser comp.” Here, Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst constantly procs the Electro-Charged reaction in combination with Fischl and Beidou’s Electro application. Sucrose is known as the “driver,” as she provides most of the Normal Attacks. Sucrose has a fast attack speed, and as her Normal Attacks are infused with Anemo energy, she can Swirl as well, reducing the Elemental RES of your opponents.
  • Sucrose / Alhaitham / Kuki Shinobu / Xingqiu: Hyperbloom is one of the strongest reactions in Genshin Impact, and Sucrose can assist by providing Elemental Mastery and increasing the damage potential of this reaction. Alhaitham, Kuki Shinobu, and Xingqiu will handle the Hyperbloom, while Sucrose will provide additional Elemental Mastery for your team. While Anemo does not react with Dendro, it does react with Electro and Hydro, so you can still share Elemental Mastery with your team.
