Studio Ghibli Films Are B2G1 For Black Friday

When it comes to anime, you can’t go wrong with anything that bears the mark of Studio Ghibli. Essentially the Disney of anime but with a more rock-solid track record over its numerous releases, Studio Ghibli films offer creative and unique animated experiences to savor. Not only are these films on sale for Black Friday, you can save even more as they’re eligible for the Amazon buy two, get one free sale. As a reminder, you can pick three items from the list and the cheapest one will automatically be discounted when added to your cart.

Back to the list; Amazon is offering several of Studio Ghibli’s biggest hits and cult-classics at less than half their usual price on Blu-ray. Even better, these films come with a DVD copy as well just in case you don’t have a device that can handle these crisp 1080p releases. You can pick up beloved films like Spirited Away, arguably the anime movie of the early 2000s that helped show the world that there was more to the art form than just two blonde supermen screaming at each other for 15 minutes before they threw hands.

Like the other films in the Studio Ghibli library, Spirited Away combines luxurious animation with tons of small details in an imaginative fantasy world. It broke box office records at the time and picked up numerous awards, including an Oscar. Other brilliant films you can check out on the list include Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, groundbreaking slices of animation that touch on environmental issues.

Howl’s Moving Castle is a wonderful adaptation of its literary source material and Kiki’s Delivery Service is effortlessly charming.
