Stolen antique locations in mission 2

0

Sniper Elite 5 has very open-ended levels that allow you to approach your targets however you want. On top of the main mission objectives, each level has several optional objectives you can complete to get three stars on each mission and earn lots of XP, which will make you far more proficient on the battlefield.

Mission 2: Occupied Residence has only two side objectives, but that doesn’t mean they’re easy. This is one of the smallest maps in the game, and you’ll need to make your way around almost the whole thing to complete the objectives. Everything takes place in the heavily-guarded chateau, so only true masters of stealth will do this one cleanly. We’ll guide you to where you need to go and give you some tips on how best to stay hidden.

Kill Friedrich Kümmler with a chandelier

Another German officer is on the kill list for mission 2, and a very specific challenge for his death, but before you worry about that, you’ll need to get inside the chateau. If you head along the eastern path from the starting point, you’ll have to take out a small garrison before finding a small tunnel in the trees just ahead of it. The key is on an officer in the group of barns/garages on the far east side of the map.

Taking this tunnel drops you right by the basement entrance, and then all you have to do is head up into the main building unseen. Fredrich Kümmler will be having a meeting with other officers in the ballroom, standing on the edge of the room. The best strategy is to wait on the balcony overlooking the ballroom and listen in on his conversation, when he’s done he will foolishly wander to the middle of the room; just shoot the chain of the chandelier and it’ll crash down on top of him.

Retrieve the stolen antiques

Some valuable old soldier statues have been stolen by the Germans, and you need to get these stolen antiques back into allied hands…for some reason, such is the way with WW2 games. Finding these can be a pain, but we’ve got the locations for you. There are three, with two inside the chateau. The first is in Kümmler’s chambers, which is on the middle floor of the west wing, in a safe behind a painting; whether you find the code or blow it open is your choice.

The second is in a bedroom on the top floor directly above the main entrance. It’s in a locked chest, so you’ll need to either pick the lock or use bolt cutters to get it. Finally, you’ll need to head north away from the chateau into the garden, which is crawling with guards, so staying low and as far east as you can is recommended. There is a small building in the northeast corner of the map where a sniper looks out of a tower, kill and search him for the final antique.
