Sonic Origins Plus announced

Original (3/23): SEGA has just announced Sonic Origins Plus, an expanded version of the original release. It’ll be coming to Switch on June 23, 2023.

Sonic Origins Plus includes twelve Sonic Game Gear titles, playable Knuckles in Sonic CD, and Amy Rose as a playable character in Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD for the first time. The pack also contains previously released add-on content: Extreme Missions, Mirror Mode, new character animations, and additional backgrounds and music.

Those that have the original Sonic Origins can purchase the Sonic Origins Plus Expansion Pack for $9.99.

The package will also have a physical release at retail for the first time. All copies come with a 20-page artbook and a reversible coversheet that pays homage to the classic 1990s era of Sonic.
