I see London, I see France …

A new leak for The Sims 4 indicates that a new paid DLC underwear kit is on the way for the popular life simulator.

As pointed out by GameReactor, the link seems to have come from publisher Electronic Arts’ EA App, after a Reddit user, whose post has since been deleted, spotted the incorrect image, featuring both masculine and feminine Sims in new underwear styles posted under the heading of the already-existing Modern Menswear Kit. In its most recent roadmap for The Sims 4, Maxis had noted that some additional DLC packs were on the way, and according to reports, the Simtimates Collection will be one of those additions.

In addition to an accidental peek under out Sims’ outerwear, EA has recently revealed some changes it’s planning on making to the game, which generated more than 1.4 billion hours of play last year, according to the publisher. The newest laundry list shows a variety of changes EA plans to make to the more-than-eight-year-old game in the near future based on concerns from its player community.

Topping the list is a bug that is reportedly causing all toddlers Sims generated in the game to look too similar to each other after aging up from babies. The Sims 4 uses a system that will cause a child born during the course of the game or generated in create-a-sim mode to take on certain genetic and cosmetic traits of its parents, but EA has received complaints that state this feature is not working, and all toddlers have, in some games, been looking identical to each other regardless of genetics.

The Laundry List also details 17 other fixes coming down the pipeline for the game. Of note are a bug that’s apparent making Sims’ wants and fears disappear, having them freeze to death during the summer, making them unable to use public restrooms, and allowing them to keep moving even when the game is paused.

While EA has already given a peek into the next title in The Sims’ series, it is continuing to put out purchasable DLC for The Sims 4 on a consistent basis. The base game has been free-to-play on PC since mid-October, making DLC packs a way for EA and Maxis to continue to profit from the aging title.
