Silksong’ fans get ray of hope as game is rated in Australia

Hollow Knight: Silksong hopefuls have been waiting years for the game to launch, and after seeing it get rated in Australia, they may not have to wait much longer.

A sequel to the beloved indie game Hollow KnightSilksong was announced February 14, 2019. Since then it’s faced some delays and we still don’t have a fixed launch date. That’s why news of its rating in Australia, shared on Reddit, is important to fans of the series.

It was classified April 2 and rated PG for mild violence. A fan on Reddit excitedly commented, “ITS COMING”. Another hopeful added, “I guess they gonna show it during summer game fest?” But one person believes it’s more likely to be shown during the Xbox showcase. It is coming to Game Pass day one, so this is highly likely.

However, the news that Silksong would be coming to Game Pass was announced during a showcase that also promised all games shown would be out within a year. That was almost two years ago.

Silksong is also promised for PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch, so players should be able to get their hands on it whatever their preferred console. Fortunately, Silksong got an official Xbox store page on April 1. This is no April Fool’s joke, either. The sotre reiterates that its still coming to Game Pass on day one, but there’s no release date or price on the page.

For those of you who never played the original, Hollow Knight is a 2D side-scrolling Metroidvania set in a grimdark world of insects and decay. It captured the hearts of many, which is why every bit of news about the sequel is exciting to its fans.

In other news, fans of the Fallout TV show can now roleplay as the main characters thanks to new information that reveals all their SPECIAL stats.
