Shout Factory has announced through Deadline that they have acquired the rights to many Jim Henson Productions films. Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal are included, which will undoubtedly receive mega-edition Blu-ray releases that the company is known for. The agreement covers streaming, video-on-demand, broadcast, digital download, packaged media, and limited non-theatrical rights. So, expect many beloved titles to be released in 2024 and beyond, as this is a multi-year agreement. I also would not be shocked if we saw those films and more on the Shout! Factory streaming channels.

Shout Factory Will Handle These With Care

Shout! Factory is set to be one of the biggest labels in the world now as far as physical media is concerned, and this is a huge get for them. As they reveal their plans and releases, we will bring you the news about them for sure.
