ShopTo PS5 restock now available to buy: Disc and Digital consoles back in stock | Gaming | Entertainment

ShopTo is once again taking orders for the PS5, with both the Disc and Digitial Edition consoles available to purchase from the online retailer. The latest ShopTo PS5 restock went live after 2pm UK time on Tuesday February 23 and came hot on the heels of a major GAME restock which went live earlier today. The PS5 restock at ShopTo was highlighted by the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account who posted: “The #PS5 is now in stock! [ShopTo]”.

Unfortunately, PS5 stock hunters who have been trying to get on the ShopTo website have experienced difficulty – with people reporting the ShopTo website is not working for them and others sharing screengrabs of 503 error messages they’ve received when trying to access the ShopTo site.

Discussing these difficulties, the @PS5UPDATEUK Twitter posted:”The website has crashed, but keep trying.”

While the @PS5UKAlerts Twitter posted: “Stay on shopto! They will have a queue system coming up so stay on so u can be early!”

The latest ShopTo restocks follows a major GAME restock that dropped earlier today. This restock featured dozens of purchase options, including standalone PS5 consoles as well as bundles.

If you miss out on either of the GAME or ShopTo restocks then Currys are rumoured to be dropping PS5 stock this week as are BT, EE and Hughes.

And today has turned out to be a big news day for PlayStation fans.

Besides the PS5 restocks, Sony has all of a sudden announced a next generation PS VR headset.

No pictures have been revealed and neither has a release window.

But we do know it won’t be launching in 2021. One of the most exciting things, however, is that the new PS VR headset will have a new controller.

And this controller will feature “some of the key features found in the DualSense wireless controller”.

Given how well received the DualSense controller has been, and how much the haptic feedback in that has added to immersion, the PS5 VR controller could end up being pretty special.
