Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Reveals Gameplay & Story Details In Its New Trailer

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has a new trailer titled ‘An Ideal World,’ gearing up for the release of this expanded version of the game; no magic lamps involved. If Shin Megami Tensei V wasn’t enough, Vengeance comes to PC, Steam Deck, PS4, PS5, Xbox, and Switch in the style of Persona 5 Royal with an expanded version and a new trailer by Atlus and Sega.

And we say this because this upcoming release in the Shin Megami Tensei saga will add over 75 hours of new content to be the complete vision of the RPG. And with its new trailer titled ‘An Ideal World,’ the game’s developer explores the deep story and canon of the game that many will enjoy once it hits the shelves.

This new video with almost two minutes of the future Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance invites all users to explore the post-apocalyptic Tokyo that the studio now expands upon. Without detracting from the story and lore of the game, as there are now more ways to experience it alongside new connections with allies, turn-based combat, and legions of demons.

The definitive version of the acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei V returns extended with a completely new story with new locations, demons, and dilemmas that will dictate the future of the universe.

On one hand, you can experience a completely new route known as the “Canon of Vengeance,” a dramatic saga of reckoning by the fallen.

The story is centered on new characters and an enigmatic cohort of demons – Qadištu – who weave their dark designs apart from the war between defenders of order and those who seek to defy it.
