See Bryan Cranston And Aaron Paul Reprise Breaking Bad Characters In Super Bowl Teaser

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, the stars of AMC’s Breaking Bad, are reprising their characters for a Super Bowl commercial, and a new teaser has been revealed.

Cranston and Paul, who played Walt and Jesse on the show, are getting back together to promote the snack PopCorners. In the new teaser, Walt is munching down on a bag as Jesse tries to start the RV/meth lab. The teaser pays homage to the Season 2 Episode 9 scene where Walt and Jesse are trapped in the desert due to Jesse mistakenly leaving the key in the ignition and thus draining the battery. If the RV interior looks very much like how you remember it, that’s because it’s the same exact interior set used on the AMC show years ago.

Walt and Jesse will be joined by the Breaking Bad character Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz) in the Super Bowl ad for PopCorners, which is owned by PepSiCo. The TV spot is directed by none other than Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, according to Variety.

This isn’t the first time that Cranston and Paul are getting back in character following the end of Breaking Bad in 2013. Paul starred in the Breaking Bad movie El Camino as Jesse, while both Paul and Cranston returned in the final season of the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul.

Super Bowl LVII takes place Sunday, February 12 from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The two conference championships to decide the participants will be held this Sunday, January 29. The 49ers and the Eagles and Bengals and Chiefs are competing for a shot to play in the big game.

EA Sports usually releases the results of its Super Bowl simulation that predicts the winner, and that should come in the days ahead after the conference championship games.
