Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 specs reportedly leak for upcoming budget tablet

Following the release of leaked renders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, the alleged specs for the upcoming tablet have also been published. The Galaxy Tab A8 specs leak come from the same source as the renders: the 91Mobiles site, in a partnership with leak source Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as @OnLeaks.

The post claims the Galaxy Tab A8 will have a 10.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200. Inside, the tablet will reportedly have the Unisoc T618 processor and will be sold in three different memory and storage options. The first will have just 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, with another boosting the memory to 4GB and the storage up to 64GB. Finally, the third option keeps the 4GB RAM but boosts the storage to 128GB. It’s likely that different worldwide markets will have different models available for sale. The report says that an LTE wireless model may also be sold.

Other Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 specs will reportedly include an 8MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front, and a 7,040mAh battery. There will also be four speakers on the tablet, along with a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Finally, the tablet will reportedly be sold in three colors: gold, silver, and gray.

The report claims that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 could be launched on October 21 in India for the price of Rs. 18,999 (~$257). It’s likely that if the tablet is sold in the US, its price will be a bit different.
