Richard Madeley to give rare insight into family life in new ITV show away from GMB | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Richard Madeley is set to feature in a new ITVX reality show titled At Home with the Madeley’s.

The Good Morning Britain presenter will appear alongside his wife, Judy Finnigan as they support their daughter, Chloe in adjusting to motherhood.

At the heart of the series is Richard and Judy’s daughter, who has just become a mum for the very first time.

With her parents even more involved in her life, and her husband James Haskell forging a new career as a DJ, Chloe is navigating complex family dynamics, a busy career, and motherhood.

Viewers will watch doting grandparents Richard and Judy as they support Chloe through the early months of motherhood.

Chloe, 35, and James, 38, welcomed their daughter Bodhi in August 2022.

However, things took an unexpected turn when they had to move in with Chloe’s parents while their home got renovated.

While she was grateful for Richard and Judy’s help and support, she admitted it was not an ideal situation.

She went on to add that living with her TV star parents again changed their relationship completely.

She said at the time: “I was quietly devastated and dreading it. I thought we were all going to be so frazzled.”

Speaking to The Sun, the new mum added: “There’s just been the loveliest family camaraderie between us. My mum and I have never been this close.”

In another interview, the fitness fanatic admitted she struggled to be away from Richard and Judy when she was pregnant.

Chloe explained in the Mdiwife Pip Podcast: “I felt very isolated, very alone. [I was] quite depressed and quite freaked out.

“I also don’t think it helped at the time that James and I were still living in the Midlands and I was away from all my friends and family.

“Just being in my family home with my mum and dad, who are also obsessed with Bodhi, I just catch my breath again and come back down to earth.

“I kind of reconnect with everything I love about my life.”

A date for At Home with the Madeley’s is yet to be confirmed.
