Along with providing details on Alan Wake 2’s status, Remedy Entertainment’s recent Business Review for January 1st to March 31st 2022 shared some updates on other projects in development. This includes the “bigger” Control game currently known as Codename Heron. It’s the concept stage at present as prototyping continues.

The developer also revealed that, “Together with the Northlight-technology team, the focus has been on developing the required technology and tools that will serve a number of Remedy games in the future.”

As for other projects, the free-to-play co-op title Codename Vanguard, which Tencent is co-publishing, has made “good progress” since the previous quarter. It’s in the proof-of-concept stage  with Remedy continuing to “strengthen the team.” Codename Condor, a spin-off of Control, is also in the proof-of-concept stage.

In terms of upcoming games, Alan Wake 2 is still set to release in 2023 for PC (via the Epic Games Store), PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
