The upcoming remaster gives fans of the series the chance to jump back into classic titles such as Sonic The Hedgehog 1 & 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. Now with high resolution, new opening and ending animations, new unlockables, challenges, and so much more.

The official release date for Sonic Origins on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC is Thursday, June 23rd, 2022.
As for an exact release time for Sonic Origins, this may vary depending on your platform. PlayStation and Xbox users will have a release time of MIDNIGHT in their local timezone. Whilst the Nintendo Support website states that Switch users can expect a release time of 9AM PT for Sonic Origins.
Currently, a release time for PC players has not been confirmed. However, much like the Switch release, Steam often launches new titles at 9AM PT.
Before you pre-order a copy of Sonic Origins, make sure you’ve decided which edition to purchase. The Standard Edition of Sonic Origins simply includes the base game, whilst the Deluxe Edition includes Premium Fun Pack and Classic Music Pack.
According to the official PlayStation Store Page for Sonic Origins, the Standard Edition will cost $39.99 USD, whilst the Deluxe Edition is priced at $44.99 USD.
