Princess Peach will return to the spotlight next month with her first leading role in nearly two decades. Princess Peach: Showtime releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch on March 22. The eclectic adventure will see Peach wear many different hats. If you’re interested in seeing Peach become a swordfighter, pastry chef, martial arts master, and more, Princess Peach: Showtime is available to preorder now. You can even get an exclusive collectible by preordering at Best Buy. Plus, Nintendo is releasing special-edition Pastel Pink Joy-Con controllers to celebrate Princess Peach’s latest adventure.
If you preorder the physical or digital edition of Princess Peach: Showtime at Best Buy, you’ll get the acrylic display stand shown above. Preorder offers for Nintendo Switch exclusives have a tendency to make games sell out at the retailer offering the collectible, so you should secure your preorder soon, if interested.
Princess Peach: Showtime is available to preorder in both physical and digital formats for $60–but only Best Buy has the acrylic stand preorder bonus. Peach’s adventure has already been added to the Nintendo Switch Online Game Voucher program, too, allowing Switch owners to get two games for $100 total.
All Princess Peach wants is to enjoy her visit at the Sparkle Theater, but the villainous Grape and the Sour Bunch are up to no good. After Grape “steals the show,” Peach assists the Sparkle Theater guardian Stella by starring in a variety of theatrical roles.
Since each role is quite different from the last, Princess Peach: Showtime looks to offer some interesting gameplay variety. Peach’s roles will see her become a classical swordfighter, martial arts master, pastry chef, and a detective tasked with solving a mystery at a museum.
