Amazon has announced all the games to be given away for Prime Gaming members this June. For those who subscribe, you will be able to download six games and, yes, one of them is another Monkey Island game. Is anyone else sensing a trend? Other Prime Gaming offerings for June 2022 include Far Cry 4, Calico, and Astrologaster (which took me a couple tries to spell out correctly).
I may be wrong, but I believe we’ve reached the end of Monkey Island games for the service. Escape from Monkey Island will be the eighth game in the franchise to be featured as a Prime Gaming release. All five Tales of Monkey Island have been given away, along with the first three mainline games. Escape from Monkey Island, the fourth in the series, should button things up pretty nicely, especially if you’re a fan of the franchise or classic adventure games.
Far Cry 4 is the big AAA offering for Prime Gaming in June 2022. Ubisoft’s big, open-world shooter is getting paired with Astrologaster, Across the Grooves, Calico, and WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship. The offerings cover a fairly broad spectrum of gaming genres, so there could be something that interests you.
Last month’s offerings are still on the table
Naturally, alongside the games we also have plenty of loot and other rewards. Prime Gaming June offerings include skins, in-game currency, emotes, bundles and more for games like Apex Legends, FIFA 22, Fall Guys, Lost Ark, and more. As per the norm, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to claim the games and loot. Starting on June 1, you can claim the above by visiting the Prime Gaming page.
There is still some time left to grab May’s offerings. The game’s of the current month include Dead Space 2, Cat Quest, and the third Monkey Island game. But you have less than a week to do it.
