The upcoming Stephen King short story collection, You Like It Darker: Stories, is officially up for preorder at Amazon. It won’t hit shelves until May 21, but reserving an advance copy knocks the price of the hardcover volume to just $21 (down from $30). A Kindle version is also available for $15.

You Like It Darker: Stories is a hardcover collection of 12 new tales by King. Clocking in at over 500 pages, the massive volume will “delve into the darker part of life–both metaphorical and literal.” Included in the collection you’ll find Two Talented Bastids, Danny Coughlin’s Bad Dream, Rattlesnakes (a sequel to Cujo), The Dreamers, and The Answer Man.
The short stories carry all the same weight as King’s long novels–and for just $21, it’s an easy recommendation for fans of the author.
