Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is just around the corner, and fans are curious to know the release date and time of the game.
This year has been a treat for Pokemon fans, with not one but two major installments in the Pokemon franchise being in store for them. Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released all the way back in January, and it was quite a milestone for the franchise since it was the first time we witnessed an open-world Pokemon game. While Legends Arceus still had some restrictions on its open-world formula, the developers have now amplified the scale and made Scarlet & Violet a full-fledged open-world game.
If you are looking to play Pokemon Scarlet & Violet on day one, then you should be aware of the official release date of the game, which is on 18th November 2022. The tricky part with Nintendo games is always the release time. Nintendo never announces a release time for the game, but most of the time it follows the schedule that Nintendo has mentioned on its website. Well, at least for Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the game followed this schedule so it is expected that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will be following suit as well.
If previous releases are to be followed, then Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will be launching at 9 PM PT (November 17th) / 12 AM ET / 5 AM GMT. This is the official release time for Nintendo’s first-party titles, as this is the time when the eShop is updated. As usual, you can find your workaround for this and try to play the game early. All you need to do is create a new account in the New Zealand/Australia region and set the account you own the game in as your primary. Then you can access the game with this account, and you should be able to play a few hours earlier than usual. This method is used quite extensively, so you shouldn’t worry about getting banned by Nintendo if you use it.
