Pokemon Go Zekrom Raid Guide- Counters, Weaknesses & Shiny Status
The Legendary Beast Zekrom is making a return to 5-star raids.
Pokemon Go is all set to bring back Zekrom to raids, and fans are quite eager to know how they can defeat the ferocious Pokemon.
As part of the Twinkling Fantasy event, Niantic is all set to introduce a number of changes to the game. Quite notable of all is Mega Salamence making its debut in Mega Raids, and surprise Jigglypuff and Dratini encounters for players who take a snapshot during the event. Apart from that, Zekrom is also returning to 5-star raids, along with an all-new attack that will be exclusive to the event, Fusion Bolt. This Electric-type move has 90 power for Trainer Battles and 140 power for gyms and raids, making it an excellent choice against Pokemon which are weak to Electric-type moves.
Pokemon Go Zekrom Raid Guide- Counters, Weaknesses & Shiny Status
Zekrom is a Legendary Beast, and its unique type combination is what makes it such a strong Pokemon. It is the only Electric-Dragon type Pokemon, and that makes it immune to several commonly used types such as Electric, Fire, Flying, Grass, Steel, and Water. However, it does have its weaknesses too, being susceptible to more damage against Dragon, Fairy, Ground, and Ice-type Pokemon.
For players who want to fancy their chances of catching a shiny variant of the Legendary Beast, there is some good news as the shiny variant of the Pokemon is available in Pokemon Go. But considering that Zekrom is restricted to 5-star raids, you might have a hard time finding a Zekrom in the first place, let alone getting your hands on a shiny variant. Here are the best counters for Zekrom, which can make the raid significantly easier for you.
