As part of the Pokémon World Championships currently taking place in London, Pokémon GO has a number of themed Research Tasks and Raids for players to take part in.
The box legendary for Pokémon Sword, Zacian, is now available as part of a five-star raid where you can catch your own powerful pup. It is unfortunately not possible for your Zacian to be Shiny but it is still a strong Pokémon to add to your team. It is weak to both Steel and Poison types, so here are the top 15 counters for this tricky Raid target.

Mega Beedrill – Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb.
Metagross – Bullet Punch, Meteor Mash.
Nihilego – Acid, Sludge Bomb
Mega Scizor – Bullet Punch, Iron Head.
Dialga – Metal Claw, Iron Head.
Roserade – Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb.
Jirachi – Charge Beam, Doom Desire.
Excadrill – Metal Claw, Iron Head.
Genesect (All types) – Metal Claw, Magnet Bomb.
Overqwil – Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb.
Gengar – Lick, Sludge Bomb.
Mega Venusaur – Vine Whip, Sludge Bomb.

During the raid, Hero Zacian will have 52,195 CP, but only between 2,100 and 2,735 CP when you catch it. This special Zacian is Fairy-type, hence why it is weak to Steel and Poison.
Luckily, there are a number of strong Pokémon – in particular Mega Evolutions – of these types, giving you a number of options for counters. Mega Beedrill is one of the easiest Megas to get and so is a good choice for this raid. This Raid should be possible with three level 40 players, though if you are under this level you might want to bring a few more friends along.
