What could we see this State of Play? There could be a look at Final Fantasy 16 which was promised an announcement sometime this spring. Whether it will be during Playstation’s event or during another showcase during Summer Game Fest could be possible.
Final Fantasy XVI is the next major entry in the Final Fantasy franchise. So far what has been revealed is that FFXVI will be quite “action-orientated” but will also provide a story mode for those who rather focus on narrative.
Previously State of Plays this year included a concentration on Japanese titles such as The DioField Chronicle and Valkyrie Elysium, with both titles set to release in 2022. We also got an in-depth look at upcoming Action-RPG Hogwarts Legacy.
As this State of Play is focusing on third-party titles, we might not see God of War Ragnarok, but we could get a few surprises.
