Paper Theater guide (Lantern Rite 2023)

Paper Theater is a minigame in Genshin Impact. In it, you’ll move around various objects in a scene, allowing a character to reach their goal. Here’s our Genshin Impact Paper Theater guide to help you with this activity that’s part of Lantern Rite 2023.

Genshin Impact Paper Theater guide (Lantern Rite 2023)

Similar to the other minigames in Lantern Rite 2023, Paper Theater in Genshin Impact has a fairly short quest that takes place in Liyue Harbor. Talk to the NPC here, and you’ll be presented with several challenges/scenes.

You’ll want to watch where the character, Huanggang, is going. You may then move/switch around various sections of the scene by dragging those slides. This will prevent Huanggang from bumping into obstacles or getting killed outright. In some cases, a section might be locked, so you’d have to move others instead. The end goal is to ensure that the character can reach their objective (i.e., an exit door or a girl). Likewise, failure won’t be too much of an issue since you can restart the challenge.

Homecoming

• Scene 1 – Simply swap the vase and the door.
• Scene 2 – Switch the spikes and vase/door slides. When Huanggang bumps into the vase and moves back to his start point, drag the vase/door slide to the left.
• Scene 3 – Switch the spikes/girl and vase slides. Wait for Huanggang to bump into the vase. Then, quickly drag the spikes/girl slide to the middle. This will cause him to walk toward the girl to complete the objective.
