Palworld sees your character exploring distant lands and vast expanses. Thankfully, you won’t always need to do the whole endeavor on foot. Here’s our guide on how to ride Pals in Palworld.
You can ride Pals by crafting their respective harnesses. Here’s a quick summary:
The saddles that you craft to ride Pals in Palworld come from the Pal Gear Workbench, a level 6 tech blueprint. Once unlocked, select it from the Build menu (i.e. “B” key). You need 10x Paldium Fragment, 30x Wood, and 2x Cloth to construct this workbench.
But, that’s not all. You still need the materials for the saddles themselves. Let’s use the three Pals we mentioned above:
You definitely need to acquire Ingots if you want to ride Pals in Palworld. You can refer to our Ingot farming guide for more information.

If you’ve already crafted a saddle, simply make sure that particular Pal is in your party and summon them. You should see the ride command. Once you ride the Pal, you’ll notice a variety of actions, too, including galloping for ground mounts and rising higher in the air or descending for flying amounts.
Moreover, you can press certain buttons or keys to activate a Pal’s skills while riding them. For instance, Nitewing can still cast abilities like Air Cannon and Wind Cutter, even hitting enemies down below.
Lastly, bear in mind that Pal stamina plays a factor here. Their energy bar decreases when they exert a lot of effort (i.e. moving faster, rising up in the air, or using abilities). Once fully depleted, they’ll return to a rest state for a few seconds until the meter is filled back up. For flying mounts, they’ll descent back to the ground for a short while.
This is how you ride Pals in Palworld. Don’t forget that you can use your mounts to cover vast distances, while also gliding/parachuting to safety.
Wide-open expanses, unique biomes, and even stranger creatures await you in Palworld. You can learn more about the game in our guides hub.
