Oppo has expanded its A-series smartphone range. The company has launched Oppo A74 and Oppo A74 5G phones in select South East Asian countries. The duo come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets and are backed by a 5000mAh battery.
Price and availability
The 4G variant of Oppo A74 has been launched in Cambodia and the Philippines. While the device’s price is yet not revealed in the Cambodian market, it is priced at PHP 11,999 (approx Rs 18,000) in the Philippines. The handset comes in single storage variant. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
While the Oppo A74 5G is listed in Thailand at THB 8,999 (approx Rs21,000). It also packs 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Colour variants of Oppo A74 5G include Fluid Black and Space Silver. While the 4G model of Oppo A74 comes in Midnight Blue and Prism Black.
Both smartphones are backed by 5000mAh batteries and run on ColorOS based on Android 11. While the Oppo A74 4G is equipped with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, the 5G variant features a 6.5-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate.
Oppo A74 4G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset. The 5G model, on the other hand, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. The duo pack 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
On the camera front, Oppo A74 4G has a triple camera system at the back. It has a 48MP main sensor, 2MP secondary sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
The 5G variant is equipped with a quad-camera setup and features an additional 8MP sensor at the back. Both Oppo A74 4G and Oppo A74 5G phones offer 16MP camera for selfies.
