One Piece fans are looking forward to getting some spoilers for Chapter 1050; however, the community will have to wait until next week to get some leaks around the upcoming chapter.
Eiichiro Oda is now extremely close to ending the fight between Luffy and Kaido. We’ve already seen Zoro, Sanji, Kid, and Law defeating their opponents, and now, the entire focus of the manga is on the ultimate battle. Luffy lost the fight against Kaido a couple of times, but the struggle helped him reach Gear 5. In this new form, Luffy is able to overwhelm Kaido with his newly found abilities.
In the previous chapter, we saw Kaido taking a powerful blow from Luffy, and now, everyone is eager to see if the Emperor of the Seas has actually lost the fight. Well, we’ll hopefully get our answers in the next chapter of the manga series.
One Piece follows a weekly release schedule, so the community is expecting Chapter 1050 to drop on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022. However, Eiichiro Oda is on a break this week, so you’ll have to wait one more week to read the upcoming chapter. The mangaka usually takes a break after releasing a couple of chapters, so the recent hiatus falls in that pattern.
Chapter 1050 of One Piece is now scheduled to release worldwide on Sunday, May 29th, 2022. So, it would be the final One Piece chapter for the month of May. The next chapter will be available to read at 8 AM PDT (Pacific Timing), and here’s the exact release time for different regions:
You can read Chapter 1050 of One Piece on Viz Media and Manga Plus when it arrives next weekend. Both platforms let you enjoy the latest three chapters for free. But of course, you have to get the Shonen Jump Membership to unlock the rest of the chapters on Viz.
By this time, fans expect to see some spoilers for the new One Piece chapter. But since the manga is on a break, you will have to wait until May 24th-25th to get some exciting leaks.
In the previous chapter, we’ve seen Luffy landing a powerful blow on Kaido. Still, in his dragon form, Kaido keeps falling to the ground. At this point, we also see a flashback in which Kaido states that Joyboy is someone who’ll defeat him in the future.
Of course, all those years back, everyone thought that no one could bring down the Emperor of the Seas. But now that Joyboy is here, and Kaido himself has experienced his power, everyone feels that the time of Kaido is almost over. Even the flashback seems to be hinting at the end of the fight.
We haven’t seen Kaido on the ground yet, so there’s a chance that the Emperor has some more techniques up his sleeves. However, we can’t deny that the fight is close to its end. The only thing that One Piece fans fear is seeing Kaido giving up too easily. Most of the recent chapters have focused on flashbacks, and fans want to see an uninterrupted fight between Luffy and Kaido before getting a winner.
