The jump to Unreal Engine 5 is noticeable: Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2 boasts some of the most realistic graphics in history.
To achieve this, Ninja Theory has spent a lot of money and time, traveling to Iceland for references, doing motion capture, and even scanning props and fabrics, which then appear just as they are in reality in the game.
This is possible because the game will continue to be very focused on the story and a linear path, but with an absorbing story: between 8-12 hours of gameplay estimated, like the first one, it will be a short game, but very intense.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, The sequel to the award-winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will take its protagonist to face a battle to overcome darkness both inside and out as she is determined to save the victims of the horrors of tyranny. “Dive deep into the next chapter of Senua’s story, an experience specially designed and narrated through cinematic immersion, truly beautiful visual elements, and surround sound,” the game’s description previews.
As expected with these Microsoft games, Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2 will be exclusive to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the Xbox Game Pass service when it launches on May 21, also confirming its inclusion in Game Pass from its launch.
