Christmas is inching closer so, naturally, the number of big-name new releases is starting to slow down. Not all is lost, though, as we’re still looking at a fair few new releases on console this week. So, what’s new on PS5 and PS4? What’s going up on the PlayStation Store this week?
Highlights include Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds, the meaty expansion for Ubisoft‘s latest exotic open-world action-adventure. And, in true Far Cry fashion, Lost Between Worlds will be “out there” with its dimension-shifting story and rogue-like gameplay.
Hello Neighbor 2 sneaks onto PS5 and PS4 this week, too. The sequel follows the original with its unique twist of stealth horror gameplay that sees players trying to find out the dark secrets of the new neighborhood without being caught. The original proved to be a success and there’s no doubt the follow-up will draw in the numbers, too.
Perhaps the dark horse of the week that will go underappreciated is Firefighting Simulator – The Squad. Yes, we’ve got dozens of weird simulator games on console these days, ranging from washing houses to mowing lawns, but a decent firefighter sim? This will be the first. It’s already out on Steam and it’s sitting pretty with a “Very Positive” rating from players.
