As we approach December, Disney+ unveils its upcoming content schedule for the next month. Starting on December 1, viewers can look forward to a lineup of titles set to debut throughout the final month of the year.
December 1 brings a significant release to Disney+: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, possibly marking Harrison Ford’s last adventure as the iconic character. Plenty has been written about the sequel’s struggles to turn a profit, but it’s a solid return to form, blending one-liners, thrilling action, and profound philosophical exploration. On the same day, Disney+ will also release the documentary Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones and Harrison Ford, offering a deeper look into the franchise. Watch the documentary trailer below for a sneak peek.
On December 20, Percy Jackson and the Olympians will have a two-episode premiere. The series adaptation of the popular fantasy novels “tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson, who’s just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Now Percy must trek across America to find it and restore order to Olympus.”
Also worth spotlighting is Marvel’s What If…? Season 2, which, starting December 22, will be releasing a new episode daily for nine straight days until the season concludes on December 30.
Below is a list of all the content coming to Disney+ in December. You can also check out our list for Hulu.
