Both Rabbit and Bear Studios and 505 Games announced on social media that there will be an Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Switch patch that addresses issues tied to performance, character recruitment, and Cooking Battles. There’s no release window for it, however.
The official game account’s tweet is the more succinct of the two summaries of things to come. One involves the recruitment of a character named Lam in Daphan. While not every person will encounter this bug, it is possible in the current builds on the Switch to lock yourself out of recruiting her. If so, you are also locked out of getting the best ending and all possible allies.
The Cooking Battle is another issue in Eiyuden Chronicle on the Switch. After recruiting Kurtz, you can take part in the minigame. As the minigame isn’t working, it also can interfere with the recruitment of another ally.
505’s announcement specifically notes that the 1.0.4 Eiyuden Chronicle Switch patch will address issues with Lam and a War Mode story bug.
