Yume wants to maintain her top position in the upcoming exams, leaving behind Mizuto. But he is least worried about the rivalry. After the first exam is over, Yume realizes that Mizuto is intentionally keeping a low score so she can win. But still, Mizuto ranks at the top position and challenges her for the upcoming finals.

Interestingly, Yume feels quite relaxed after scoring the second position, and she realizes that Mizuto was trying to teach her that it isn’t necessary to be at the top. She starts feeling attracted to him and rushes to confess her feelings. But Yume finds Mizuto talking to Isana Higashira, whom Mizuto considers a close friend.

Yume starts feeling jealous but tries to hide her feelings by being nice to him. Mizuto easily notices that Yume is acting strangely, then starts making her feel agitated and asks what happened to her. She admits her jealousy but then turns to normal.
