The upcoming anime adaptation of My Happy Marriage will premiere this July as part of the Summer 2023 anime season.
My Happy Marriage (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) began as a novel series in 2019 from author Akumi Agitogi.
The series follows the life of a girl who has an arranged marriage foisted upon her, after living a painful life with her family.

Miyo Saimori was the unfortunate child of a loveless, arranged marriage. After her mother died, her father brought in his lover and other daughter, Kaya. From then on, Miyo’s life was reduced to that of a mere servant. Even worse, while Kaya inherited the family’s psychic abilities, Miyo had none—she was truly the daughter with no merit.
