It’s described as an Assault Rifle variant, and Captain Price’s signature weapon. It comes with four pre-equipped attachments detailed as follows; “the Aim OP-V4 Reflex Optic, the SZ 1MW PEQ Laser, the FSS Covert V Silencer on the Muzzle, and the Lockgrip Precision-40 Underbarrel Vertical Grip.” The attachments are stated to make the weapon a good all-around rifle for players of all skill levels. It allegedly offers higher aiming stability, reduced recoil, sound suppression, and more.

The total list of rewards is:

  • Calling Card: “Soap’s Determination”
  • Emblem: “What’s Done Is Done”
  • 30 Minute Double XP Token
  • 30 Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Chainlinked”
  • Base Operator: Chuy
  • 30 Minute Double XP Token
  • 30 Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Gaz”
  • Base Operator: Nova
  • 1 Hour Double XP Token
  • 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Shadow Company Ops”

It is stated that the rewards are in “chronological mission order”, so it’s suggested that the campaign will have 17 missions. These rewards will give those who pre-ordered a solid advantage for the game’s initial launch period. Not only will they have a weapon with unlocked attachments, they’ll also get XP and Weapon XP bonuses, which will allow them to get further weapon upgrades quicker than players who jump in without playing the campaign.

It was recently reported that Modern Warfare 2 would require players to verify a post-paid telephone number, otherwise they wouldn’t get access to the game’s online components. This was met with a lot of backlash from Call of Duty players, as Overwatch 2 had just recently gone through this debacle, where players with pre-paid phone plans couldn’t enjoy the game they’d paid for. Though Call of Duty hasn’t removed the requirement, they recently confirmed it is limited to PC where most cheating incidents take place.
