One of the games featured during NetEase Connect 2023 was Mission Zero, a 2v4 asymmetrical stealth game heading for iOS, Android and PC. It’s not the first time we’ve heard of the game since it was revealed during last year’s event. But we have learned a few new details, including information on an upcoming closed beta test.

Following two previous technical tests, another will take place this July. Like the previous closed betas, the upcoming test is limited to select regions – Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. If you’re not living in one of those countries, you’ll have to wait a bit longer before getting your hands on it.

For now, we can check out the new footage unveiled during NetEase Connect 2023. The trailer showcased a new operation called Investigation of the Museum of Civilisation, which is quite the mouthful. Anyway, the building is now home to an ore infused with cosmic energy.

Naturally, with something that powerful, some people will try and steal it. If you choose to play as a Sirius spy, you can become those people. Alternatively, you can become a Mobius Hunter and try to prevent the ore from being stolen.

If you choose to be an infiltrator, you have to unlock the ore vault within a set time limit and then escape the museum. Unsurprisingly then, if you’re a Mobius Hunter, you will try to stop the spies from doing so.

Mission Zero will eventually release on the App Store, Google Play, and PC. NetEase hasn’t set a release date in stone. However, we do know there will be another CBT this July. If you want to learn more, check out the game’s official website for more information on factions, characters and equipment. You can also pre-register there if you’d like.
