Mighty Doom guide – must-know tips and tricks

Tip #1 – Run and Gun

This might seem quite obvious, but, unlike Tomb Raider Reloaded, Might Doom allows you to shoot as you move. As such, you should be on the move almost all the time. It will help you dodge most of the bullets. However, in stages full of chaos, do be careful as you don’t want to move into the line of fire.

Tip #2 – Fight a single monster

The second important tip is to fight one enemy at a time. If you try to take the fight with multiple monsters at a time, the chances of losing increase significantly as you can only shoot one monster at a time, while all of them can shoot you. This is why you should fight with a single monster at a time.

Tip #3 – Use your surroundings

As you progress, the later stages will feature jump pads and teleportation. Make sure to use these elements to avoid bullets. Trying to dodge bullets simply by moving in the later stages will be very difficult.

Tip #4 – Never miss a glory kill

Glory kills give you HP. In a game where you can only increase your health by using an ability that comes randomly and by glory kills, you have no option but to always go for a glory kill, especially when you are low on health.

Tip #5 – Coins are auto-collected

When you start playing, the tutorial teaches you to collect coins on the maps, but don’t worry about it. When you finish a stage, the coins get auto-collected in the end, so ignore them in between fights.

Tip #6 – Learn Patterns to defeat bosses

On stages like 10,20,30, and 40, you must fight against a boss enemy. At first, beating these boss monsters might seem impossible, but it’s pretty easy. Each boss monster has an attacking pattern. Try to learn them, and it will become much easier for you to beat them.
