Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Won’t Be A PlayStation 5 Exclusive; To Be Revealed At The Showcase

The long-rumored Metal Gear Solid 3 remake may not be a PlayStation 5 exclusive release, despite rumors of an agreement between Sony and Konami.

Today, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, who has proved to be extremely reliable in the past, revealed that the remake, which will be announced with a teaser during this week’s PlayStation Showcase, is not going to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, and so will also launch on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

While Tom Henderson proved to be extremely reliable, we have to take what has been revealed today about the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake with a grain of salt. As the game has been rumored to be in the works for a long time, and more and more sources confirming its existence, however, it’s pretty much assured that the game will be announced in the near future.

While Insider Gaming was able to confirm news regarding the MGS3 remake, they haven’t been able to verify if a new Castlevania game is indeed in the works and if it is getting announced in the coming months.

The Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is supposedly getting announced during this week’s PlayStation Showcase for a launch on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Do you think we will see the game in a few days? Let us know in the comments.
