Magical Girl Destroyers Anime To Launch Mobile Tie-In Game

Pre-registration for the Magical Girl Destroyers mobile game will start on February 1st.


The official website of Magical Girl Destroyers has announced that a mobile tie-in game based on the anime is currently in the works, featuring the heroine characters of the series. A new trailer for the forthcoming series was also released along with the announcement of the game.


The mobile tie-in game is still in development but is expected to be released later this year. The free-to-play mobile game titled Magical Girl Destroyers Kai will feature a similar story to the anime and the players of the game will be able to play as the anime’s heroine while fighting off monsters. Aside from the main adventure in the game, a multiplayer mode is available where the players can team up with other players to engage in a more challenging battle against the monsters.

Magical Girl Destroyers Kai will feature the three heroines from the anime – Blue, Anarchy and Pink. The game will retain the voices of their anime counterparts, with Aimi for Blue, Fairouz Ai for Anarchy, and Tomoyo Kurosawa for Pink. The game will also introduce a new heroine named Peace who will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka and will be exclusively available in the game.

Sumire Uesaka will also perform the theme song for the game titled Rebellion. The pre-registration for the game will start on February 1. Further news will be announced soon, but there’s no word yet on the global release of the game.

Aside from the mobile tie-in game announcement, a new trailer that was just released by Magical Girl Destroyers’ website features Otaku Hero’s journey from being a regular fanboy to taking charge in protecting the fan culture. The newly released trailer gave the fans an idea of what to expect from the anime with a glimpse of the action and drama of the anime.

The anime is set in the year 2008 and tells the tale of four otakus who aims to fight for freedom after a mysterious force started terminating the otaku culture in Japan. Magical Girl Destroyers was an original TV anime by underground art and music creator Jun Inagawa. It was previously announced that the anime will start streaming in April.
